My name is Derek. I'm 29 and roughly 100 pounds overweight. I've been on this site for quite a while but never really talked to anybody on here. I've used it off an on to track my calories. My highest weight was 335, about 5 five years ago. I got down to 245 and maintained it for a few years. That wasn't really an intentional weight loss. I called it the "I'm broke and my job is physically demanding diet." Within the past year I've moved back into my parents house and quit my job to take care of them as somebody has to be with my mom 24/7. That is my girlfriends job and I work for my dad. I've went back to my eating habits that i grew up with that made me 335 lbs so I've gained about 45 lbs back. I'm stepping up and taking charge of my weight loss again. My goal weight is 200 lbs since I'm 6'4''. On a positive note for this year, I have not had a cigarette since March 10th and I've completely quit energy drinks since July. I'm not necessarily looking for conversation but It would be an inspiration to sign in and see everybody else's logs of exercise and food logging. My food diary is open so feel free to poke around and make suggestions on what I can add / change. I look forward to us inspiring each other.
