Hello! I have been using FitBit for over a year now. While I love it and think it has been the most accurate pedometer I have used, I am having trouble with batteries. My Zip was using up batteries quickly so I upgraded to a Flex and now I have real troubles getting it to charge. I am considering changing to something else. Anyone have suggestions on reasonably priced accurate pedometers that sync with MyFitnessPal?

Garmin Vivofit. You can check DC Rainmaker's review. I've had mine for about six months and the device is solid. The software is a bit shakey, but the seem to respond th issues.

Helen.... how do I get it to sync to my fitnesspal? I just got the vivo fit today. Also I notice it counts a lot of arm movements as steps. Do you just set your step goal higher? Do you have the heart monitor?
  • I use the vivofit, love it, the best feature is the automatic goal setting which seems to tolerate my totally lazy weekends and more active work days without being unrealistic

If your Flex is still under warranty, ie less than 1 yr old contact customer services. There have been ongoing issues with the charging on the Flexes. They replaced mine for a One, it was my second Flex. I love Fitbit and wouldn't be in a hurry to stop using their devices.

Happy with my Fitbit Charge HR. I do wish it had user replaceable batteries, though, but I don't mind charging it.

Unfortunately it is not under warranty. They did replace my Zip but the Flex is over a year old.
