What to drink

I have lost 39 lbs so far and have a ways to go. I've given up almost all pop (I was a Pepsi Holic) and I'm getting tired of the blah no calorie drinks. I cannot drink any diet drinks because the artificial sugars including Stevia make me sick. Are there any suggestions for drinks other than unsweet caffeine free tea and seltzer waters?

Try putting either lemon or lime in the water. Also, cucumber can be pretty good.

I put about 2 oz of cranberry juice in my selzter. I like it better than soda. I had to start with more juice than that and sort of work my way down to get used to the selzter. I still can't drink seltzer straight. Yuck!

I gave up drinking recently, and found cranberry juice + club soda to be a nice substitute. I also like a short glass of vegetable cocktail juice sometimes - I'll add tobasco & worchestershire to make a poor man's caesar if the mood strikes.

Coffee & tea are my main staples. Sometimes I boil water and just toss some lemon juice in there as a non-caffeinated "tea".

I drink diet pops when I feel like it, but it's not that common. (Aspartame is harmless, for the record)

And of course, there's that "water" thing I keep hearing about! ;)

You might try True Lime/Lemon/Orange/Grapefruit. They are packets of crystallized fruit (and the orange flavor has a little cane sugar) that are equal to a wedge of that fruit. They are great for when you're out and about and carrying fruit slices is not an option.

I primarily drink water but I understand the getting tired of the "blah" taste (or tastelessness). I also drink tea, cold with a little lemon or hot with a small bit of honey and lowfat milk. I have found if I make my ice tea with a couple bags of a flavored herbal tea it adds a little taste. I have also found several sites that have recipes for "flavored" waters. Adding lemon, cucumber, melon, etc to you water adds flavor but little or no calories. Herbal teas are another good alternative, either hot or cold. I add lemon to selzer, or a bit of juice, my favorite is orange or grapefruit.

get a jug of water, chop some cucumber or lemon/orange/lime (whatever fruit you fancy) to go in, you may add some mint if you like it, put in the fridge and it will infuse nicely, especially if you get it ready night before. enjoy

That's what I just started doing...love it! My everyday drinks of choice are water and coffee though. I'm a waterholic fortunately.

I love sparkling water. I will either add a lemon, lime, orange or strawberry just to give it a little extra flavor.

I drink water with lemon, all day every day! In fact about a gallon a day. But on occasion I need a change up so I use something like crystal light.
