Does MFP count all steps taken?

Does anybody notice if MFP misses step count? I've been walking for about an hour at the gym and MFP isn't recording the steps. Weird.

do you have it synced with a tracker? far as I know MFP doesn't track, you need to imput the steps. You can use a fitbit, Vivofit, etc Or just put them in manually.
I have a Vivosmart0 -
@Mellow - the newer iPhones have a pedometer built in that MFP works with to auto-adjust your calories, so you don't have to manually enter.
@1pomegranate - Typically, I don't have any issues with the pedometer through MFP/iPhone but it has been acting up the last couple days, like it would record my steps but then, next time I looked, it had taken them away along with the extra calories that came with it. And sometimes the total it shows on my app doesn't match the total when I look at MFP on a computer. Maybe there's just a glitch they're working on or something.0 -
@MellowGa @Lizabeelle1212 Thanx guys! Yes, didn't think to mention but yes I have an iPhone, and it's linked to the MFP step app. I don't have a tracker, fairly new to being consistent on MFP...but thanks for the help(:0
