It is best to slowly give up caffeine. Going cold turkey can cause horrific headaches. If you drink 1 cup of coffee a day, you can get to zero cups between 1-2 weeks (I took 1 week), try skipping every other day, then every 2 days, and then every 3, etc.
Try drinking lots of water to help with headache.
If it is really bad, I would have a small cup of coffee and work on weaning off slowly instead.

I can't give it up. I have detoxed a few times ( takes about a week) but always seem to go back. I do better by cutting back to 2 or 3 cups a day. And drinking water does help with the headaches.0
