Will 45 minutes of treadmill daily help me lose weight?

I just started exercising, counting calories, and measuring food. So far I'm doing great. But will 45 min of moderate (3.5) walking everyday help me lose weight? I also do squats

    Yeah, if all your other ducks are in a row, sure :) It can help burn off a few extra calories. It's good for your physical fitness, too.

    As long as there's a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. I think starting with 45 mins of walking and squats everyday is a great way to start. Slowly, you might consider incorporating different kinds of exercise. A simple of way of mixing it up is walking at an incline sometimes.

    I do an hour of treadmill a day and won't stop til I burn 500 calories which if ivd eaten 1000 I've burnt half off it takes 3500 Calories to equal one pound so do the math how many calories u burn a day : a week is up to you

    As others have said, as long as your in calorie deficit you will lose weight. *But* I enjoy walking for stress reduction. It works for me.

    you're only eating 1000 calories a day? and then you're burning 500 of those off on the treadmill?
