Grocery stores set us up to fail at our diets

This is a fascinating video by michael pollen on how the supermarkets set us up to fail at our diets.

Take a look, it's absolutely true! I highly recommend watching this video and learning about the set up of the grocery store and how to avoid the temptations and the junk food isle.

Wal-mart set out to be more healthy a few years back. They told their suppliers that if they didn't make their food more friendly that they would stop carrying them. That's why you find a lot of the Great Value (Wal-mart brand) labels to have lower calories, less fat and less sodium than most other labels in the same isle.

I'm a little thrown back and surprised (but happy) that when Wal-mart sets out to do something, they DO it.
