I started a quitting sugar group, not sure of any other way to get the word out...

The group I started is "Fructose Free People." I would like to have some like minded people join me to discuss and support each other in our quest to eliminate or at least greatly reduce added sugar. Based on the books "I Quit Sugar", "Fat Chance", etc. Also feel free to add me as a friend if you agree with the fructose = basically poison thing...

You probably aren't getting a ton of hits on your group because most of this site doesn't fall for books/documentaries created to scared the unknowledgeable who won't do any research of their own. Some food for thought.

queenliz99 I actually didn't mean you  Yes, kombucha does have sugar because in the first ferment the scoby lives off the sugar and tea. If you let it ferment long enough the amount left should be neglegible (hence my caviat "greatly reduce added sugar" because of this and other foods). Personally I'm more concerned with getting rid of the processed junk/added sugar. Also, to clarify, I am seeing many people looking for a group to support lowering sugar intake and I just started the group yesterday.

I just started Paleo by recommendation from my doctor. Feel free to add me to your sugar free group. :)
