HRM for swimmers?

I am looking for a HRM that I can use while swimming. I haven't been able to find one and I have been looking fairly hard with no luck. Are there any swimmers out there that can help me out? I am not really concerned with price. I just want something that works well and can be used in the water.

I have a Polar FT4 and it's safe for swimming. I use it in my hydro training class and it works great!

I've yet to take it swimming, but I know my Polar FT7 can be used up 30 meters. Perfect for swimming.

I love my FT7, it has the chest strap so it can more accurately measure your calories burned, and always accompanies me to my workouts.

It's not cumbersome to wear at all, and I love the watch interface so much, that I wear it without the chest strap. I really get a lot out of it. I don't know how I managed to live without it before. It is MUCH more accurate than MFP's caloric burns.

I'm actually a runner, but I have the Polar FT7 and it's also fine for using in the water. It's water resistant to 30 meters. It says it's not safe for use while diving, but regular swimming is perfectly fine! I love mine!

I also have the polar FT4, and it is okay for in the water, although I haven't had an opportunity to do so yet! I got mine at Target for just under $100.

I'm pretty sure all the Polar ones are water resistant. I've taken mine scuba diving and it works fine. Rated to 30 M and I'm not diving that deep very often.

I have taken my Polar FT7 in the water quite frequently without any trouble.
