Just a comment....I eat a lot of walnut, pecans, and brazil nuts. Unfortunately that is driving up my total fats. Unfair

I don't really get too worried about going a little over on my fats if they are good fats. They actually bring your cholesterol down. Try some hemp seeds, chia seeds, and avocado too.0

I am trying to learn about good fats. I love avocado so that is good info. I am also trying to learn how to get more protein without meat.0

Too much of anything is bad, even nuts. All those nuts are high in omega-6 and 9.0

I agree too much of the omega 6 and 9 is not good. Coconut oil makes up a lot of my 80% Fats.0

if i am reading these charts correct i average 1400 calories a day and my fats so far this week is 359 grams. It ranges from 46 gr to 120 gr per day. these fats are coming from some kind of nut i'm eating or nut butters.

Omega 6 and 9 aren't bad, they're essential, the problem with them is ratio to Omega 3. Generally, our diets are out of the proper ratio because of how our food is processed in the States. The consequences of a diet high in Omega 6 are inflammatory issues, arthritis, colitis and the like.
If you're snacking on a lot of nuts and nut butters, you might consider balancing it out with more fish, grass fed beef and other fats like grass fed butter, coconut oil and possibly ( as I do) supplement with fermented cod liver oil blend.
The scientific community, perhaps not so much the medical and nutrition communities is moving away from the low fat/ high carb model as the science doesn't back that up as the optimal human diet anymore.
That was a really long, convoluted way of saying, don't worry so much about the fat in the nuts, just eat them in moderation. ☺️

I really don't snack on nuts too much. i do use a quarter cup of walnuts in my lunchtime shake along with a 2 tablespoons of nut butters and a few pecans in my spinach salad. Add to that, i am gluten free and i eat my own almond bread...... it all adds up as nuts.
i have a lot of food sensitivities and so its very difficult for me to find foods i can eat. i just will have to cut back on the nuts a bit as i am trying to lose about 5 lbs.0 -

i am still trying to figure out this app and Wh it is telling me. But i do think i have stated correctly. it may be that i just haven't figured out how to read this app yet. But i do believe i stated correctly. I may be all over the place depending on what my lunch is. Some days it may be an egg and a piece of rice bread. other days it may be a shake which includes nut butters and nuts...and rice bread. ( i am gluten free)0
