Hi my name is Lesley, today is day one on mfp and linked my Fitbit, I am aiming for 10,000 daily steps and would love to have a couple of friends to compete against to achieve this goal, I don't really know how to add friends on it (I hope you don't need Facebook as I haven't got it). Am looking forward to losing weight and being a bit more active, I have 6 stone to lose an going to be 40yr old this year

Hi Lesley. I'm Jaclyn. Welcome! I have a Fitbit account and you are more than welcome to add me. I've injured my back recently, so I'm not currently getting anywhere near 10k steps but once I'm all healed up again, I will be. To add me, just copy and paste my fitbit page link into your search bar. Then select "add friend". My fitbit link is : https://fitbit.com/user/2R5L5B0

This is mine, if it helps could you add me and then I might be able to see you on my Fitbit friends. Sorry, I'm new to this x0 -
I'm looking at buying a fitbit today, how are you finding it?0

Bump until I find out how to do this. My Fitbit has taught me I'm an overeating sloth.0

Not had it on for a while as been off plan (diet) but as soon as my heads in gear and focussed I absolutely love it. It can get quite addictive to move more and increase steps. I think it's worth the money And definitely a good investment. So your research first thought to make sure it's what you want X0

Hi all! I am an active 62 looking towards retirement. My children gave my wife and I a "Garmin" version of a fit bit. I would like to join you ladies but not being of the tech age I must ask if if it's possible to link to you?0

Hello...I have been using fitbit and fittnesspal for few years now. it's a great way to keep me honest with myself ..good and bad days...also a great way to keep track of my food intake along with my activity level. John to answer question ..garmin will not link directly to fitbit..but both link to fittnesspal..all are welcome to become friends and great support by going to "community"..."find friends" or going to "find members".0

I got a Fitbit Flex recently and have it synced with MFP. I like it so far and even use the Flex as a silent alarm clock and sleep tracker. Most of my Fitbit friends are from mfp threads like this! Here's my link: https://fitbit.com/user/355VKK
I'll add friends on either site.0 -
I just got the fitbit charge hr last week and love it so far. I'm excited and determined to make it work this time. Please feel free to add me on MFP or Fitbit https://www.fitbit.com/user/357FLL0

I'm sorry to be a pain but still don't know how to add people. When I type in persons user it brings up that persons basic info dashboard. How do you add someone at that stage?0

Mind if I get on board too? I'm loving my Fitbit.... Though had a couple of scares where it's fallen off!!!!! I'm doing really quite well with the steps do far and have hit my goal most days though no weight loss so back to recording everything I eat too. Had been using it for runs (though they're more like a struggle than a run) but haven't been out in a couple of weeks due to snow!!!0
