    All the best! I've been trying so many times too. Busy dental student in the middles of a busy exam week with little resource to healthy food. Nevertheless lets do this!

    Thank you so much! This time I am really doing the right thing! Counting calories.. doing the journal and getting on forums. . IT FEELS GOOD!

    Tips for a beginner, since you say you are - DO take time to fill out your bio and goals, this will help other people with similar goals and lives find you. DO be willing to friend a few people who are on a different weight/fitness journey, because it's fun! DO open your food and exercise diary to friends, hiding is how we got in this condition!

    Keep in mind, there's always the first time that really does work. I tried 100 times too. MFP has helped me stay focused and accountable. Good luck!!
