My fitness pal helped save my life

After realizing the possibility of dying before my 30th birthday, I decided to make a change. Weighing in at 455 lbs on my 29th birthday in 2013, I found the Lose to Win program at CoreFit in July of that year. To date, I have lost a total of 217 lbs at CoreFit. I’ve struggled to lose weight for my entire life until I found this program. I took all the information and processed it to make it work for me.
I went from eating a dozen donuts on the way home from work to eating chopped spinach with feta cheese and seasonings. I’m obsessed with finding new recipes and going to my new favorite place on earth: the grocery store! There, I’m discovering new items I’ve never tried before. It’s amazing what minor tweaks to your favorite foods will do to your waistline.
Eating clean doesn’t happen overnight but every day, I’m one step closer. I chart my food daily and make it a game with myself to be under all my macronutrients. My new favorite quote is, “I don’t diet. I just eat according to my goals.”

I watch my macros. Fats/protein/carbs. I make sure I don't go over them. It's more important then calories to me.0
