Where'd my butt go?!

Hi :) I began running back in Aug. I am now 17lbs lighter and 8lbs away from my goal weight. I've recently noticed a drastic change in my butt. I went from all to nothing. What are some exercises to help lift butt? (Besides squats)

I lost my butt and my boos, but it made me happy :p Other than the saggy butt pants I need to replace :#

Hahahaha....I know what you're takling about! Not so happy about the part with the vanishing girls, though.... Keep your pants, you will want to take in the waistband later...When you start squatting away, a smaller size will be too tight again, just this time on the 'right' spots....lol

:) Yeah hopefully I get a bit back, but right now I'm happy just to reach back there and feel tightness, not fat :D (Sometimes I think I grab my own *kitten* a bit too often right now ;)o:) )

3 pounds to go to my next milestone, and the weight I had decided that I would hire a personal trainer to help me move from losing to building. I have knee issues, and I'm hoping a trainer can help me either fix my form or find alternate exercises that don't aggravate the injury.

Starting to feel bad about almost highjacking the OP's thread here, but maybe there are a few hints and tips hidden in this conversation, after all... ;)
Again, I understand....lol. Almost threw my back out in front of the mirror last week, checking on mine....
About those knees....another great way of exercising for a tight behind are plyo exercises, as in box jumps, squat jumps, 180-jumps, dynamic step-ups, depth jumps....and those tuck jumps that took out my right knee last week... Today, I had my first leg workout with 30 min stairs...glutes on fire..., and then I did a series of standing cable hip adduction/abductions, and cable glute kickbacks. I kept the weights a little lower, and they are great for building or re-building strength in the knees, too.

Glutes are a muscle and like any other muscle, to build it up you have to do progressive overload with a calorie surplus (even if slight). As mentioned great exercises are glute bridges, squats, deadlifts, lunges.
