Due to a bad pollen allergy, I can't eat raw fruits and veggies. This makes snacking in a healthy manner difficult, so I would love some suggestions. I am also allergic to tree nuts :( Thanks in advance for any help!

Which type of pollen allergy do you have? Not all fruits and vegetables cross react with all types of pollen.

Yes, my daughter has the same allergy, but there are still some fruits she can eat. Bananas, mangoes and grapes are the first ones that come to mind...

Other snack ideas: depends on how many calories you're looking at.

    Rice pudding cups
    Pudding cup
    Cottage cheese
    cheese string
    mini can of tuna
    Greek yogurt

I have it pretty severe. Really the only raw fruit I can eat is grapes and some berries (in small amounts). Bananas and mangoes are definitely out of the question. Raw veggies are a total no-go.
Pudding cups and tuna are great ideas!

    Yogurt w/ granola
    Cottage Cheese
    Hard boiled eggs
Tuna and crackers - or also great in a half an avocado (if you can have that)
    Cheese sticks
    Small piece of chicken
Hummus and crackers/pita or other dipping device
  • Unsalted or lightly salted popcorn?
