Happy Nurses Week! Thank you for doing what we do!!

Happy National Nurse’s Day & Week
May 6 – 12 is Nurse’s Week.

National Nurses Week begins each year on May 6th and ends on May 12th, Florence Nightingale’s birthday. These permanent dates enhance planning and position National Nurses Week as an established recognition event. As of 1998, May 8 was designated as National Student Nurses Day, to be celebrated annually. As of 2003, National School Nurse Day is celebrated on the Wednesday within National Nurses Week (May 6-12) each year. International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on May 12th of each year. The theme for National Nurses Week in 2011 is “Nurses Trusted to Care.

    excellent, wil mention it at work, school nursing.

    i visited Florence Nightingales grave when we went to have our Wedding rings made, it is in a lovely little church yard in the middle of nowhere, she is buried with her parents and all it says on the monument is FN, Nothing else.
