So what are your takes on body by vi? Anyone had success on it?

  • I know a couple who lost a lot of weight together but the diet sounded miserable. I would rather eat in moderation, which has worked quite well for me.

Any "plan" will work if one sticks to it. Considerations should be: cost, is it sustainable for a lifetime, is it overpriced vs other comparable programs?
IMO, using a meal replacement for weight loss really teaches you nothing about how to actually eat correctly. Yeah, there are "support" suggestions for maintenance, but if it were that easy, then 90% of users shouldn't gain any weight back.

  • I just have been looking at all the different programs I've heard of. But personally I'm trying to do this all naturally no supplements shakes starving. I'm in the military and after having 2 kids by c section 10 months apart I have to be on top of my weight and bmi which I pass but I want to get rid of this pooch from the c sections

My friends used to use/sell body by vi. They all lost weight, they have all since put back on weight. Are you opposed to all shakes? They can have a TON of nutrition in them and be a good way to make sure you get a balanced meal. You don't need to pay a program an arm and a leg for a "magic shake" for weight loss....yogurt, milk, fruit, spinach/etc.
  • Not opposed to all lol. I every now and then make one or get one after my workout. I am just a Lil tired I've diet worked tried a few supplements but with Lil to no results

Both my brother and sister-in-law have lost weight by using the Vi products. However, my SIL's weight has plateaued and she has been at the same weight for TWO YEARS (and she's still overweight, BTW). She insists that she will just keep doing it until it starts to come off again but honestly, how much longer can you keep doing something that is obviously not working??

    Oh well. Not my problem.

I do know some people who have tried it..... and of those people, I am not aware of anyone who has kept it off.

I also have an issue with a company that advertises their product as gluten free on the front of their packaging, then on the back includes "Allergen Warning: Manufactured on equipment that processes products containing milk, egg, soybeans, wheat, shellfish, fish oils, tree nuts, and peanut flavor". Last time I checked, wheat was definitely a glutenous grain. Its a quick way to lose the trust of a gluten sensitive consumer like myself, that is for sure.

Sorry I can't comment on vi. There's no substitute for mental strength, hard work and making the changes required to make us all healthy. Simply put what you eat, what you do, how you live is what you are or what you will become. For myself, I know my pitfalls, late night snacks, taking the easy route after a tough day at work, TV vs an activity. I'm trying to change that for myself and those I love some here for a longer healthier life. Good luck with your jouney:-). Smile, be positive and try you best to be your best!
