Good Evening you all! I am here new to this program. I am writing out of frustration, i am at my highest point in weight now and its hard for me to find motivation. My goal is lose 50lbs but i think 30 would be a good starting goal for now. I weigh 208 pounds and i feel horrible about myself. I dont even care about eating habits and its hard for me to get up and work out because i feel ridiculous. I wake up at like 11-1 in the morning im currently not working so being at home hasnt helped. Im always hungry when i eat healthy, idk what to do but i want to cry. Idk where to start or what excersizes to do or anything:( a gym is just out of the question at the moment , im a 19 y/o female if that helps

  • Well for starters, don't cry. That won't help. What are your eating habits, physical activity, general lifestyle like? Do you have somewhere you can just walk and/or run? Maybe swimming? Physical activity is a huge key to losing. And you need to look hard at your eating habits...

losing weight is a 80 percent about what you eat and Only 20% exercise. Start by eating right in a calorie deficit and you will lose weight. I lost my first 45 pounds without exercising. I exercise regularly now, but I did not back then. if you eat less each day than what your body burns you will lose weight.

Walking is a good exercise to start with, asking a friend to walk with you or walking a dog. I try to aim for an hour walk a day or use my Wii fit.

Maybe start out slow by cutting out soft drink/Juices and grab water instead. Try fruit for a snack between meals and see how you feel. If you pressure yourself too much it will backfire.

Looking at others diaries also helps with meal ideas.

Your calorie intake will depend on your weight+Height+age and activity level.

Slow and steady will win the race. Pace yourself. :)

You don't have to exercise to lose weight, but it helps. Reduce the amount of food you are eating and you will lose weight.
