Gaining weight with a small body type.

Hello, I am a male 20 year old who is about 5'11" and 138 lbs. I have been training in and now teach mma and Krav maga, so I have a good knowledge of nutrition and exercise plans. However I was wondering if anyone out there had any secrets to gaining weight as I have been this weight since I was fifteen. I get stronger, just not bigger.

  • The only thing that has helped me is Ensure Plus. Sometimes eating the calories makes me get full and sick to my stomach. But sometimes I can chug 2 Ensures and BOOM that's 700 calories JUST from drinking. Also I don't get to full and in about 45 minutes I'm hungry for spaghetti :)

    The nutrition plan is simple: eat over maintenance and the exercise plan is pretty simple too: lift. If you are doing a lot of classes then you will have to eat back all of the calories you are burning as well.
