MFP decifit below BMR O.o

Oopsie! MFP is setting my goal calorie intake below my BMR at the moment with the smallest loss option I can chose.

Weight 62kg
Size 169cm
Age 40

According to Scoobys, my BMR is around 1366, with a BMR at 1639 (this is in line with MFP). MFP wants me to be on 1340 with a 0.25kg loss per week. Time for some custom settings, like 10-12.5% reduction in calories I guess. But anyway, I'm surprised that MFP actually does put people on a deficit below the BMR without a warning.

You're supposed to exercise or something? You've set it to sedentary too, and I agree MFP's activity multiplier of 1.2 is lower than I'd use.

There's no problem in eating below your BMR so long as you are getting adequate nutrition

Adequate nutrition for women can be acheived at over 1200 calories

And you also eat back 50-75% of exercise calories

Well.. I normally do work out, but my workouts don't use much calories as such (for swimming I guess it's about 150kcal, my bodyweight workouts are not much above this) and eating back half of them is not much. Though currently I'm sick and cannot exercise anyway. And yes, working in an office, my lifestyle is sedentary indeed.

I took out the workouts I do per week, but nothing has changed. Not surprising as I'm supposed to eat part of my exercise calories back. I'm just surprised that MFP does go so low and has not an even smaller deficit option. Oh well.... custom settings I guess.
