October I found myself weighing at 300lbs. In the summer of 2015 I have already paid for a trip to Philmont Scout reserve to go hiking with my son in the mountains of New Mexico. They have a very strict weight allowance per person and if you do not meet it - you get sent home. No aruguments.
So I knew I had to do something. Started looking for a program that did not give me prescription shots, or surgery or lap band or anything that is not a quick fix, but something to teach me how to look at food differently and to change my habits.
I found a company called PCW (Physicians Choice Wellness). They worked with me to design a program best suited for me (I had a pulminary embolism and cannot have anything with Vitamin K due to blood thinners). We settled on protein shakes.

Oct 11 - weighed in at 300 lbs, 40 mg of lovistantin, 40 mg of lisinapril and 14mg of warfrin
Dec 12 - weighed in at 263 lbs, 40 mg lovistatin, no more lisinipril and 10mg warfrin
Jan 14 - weighed in at 245lbs, 40 mg lovistatin, no more lisinipril and 5 mg of warfrin
Feeling better and working out 4-5 times a week.
I am confident that while I am drinking these protein shakes I will be able to get to my goal weight of 200 lbs - I worry about what happens when I gt off the shakes. But am confident aht with my goal of Philmont Scout Reserve hiking with my son and the amount of workout s I get a week along with the education that PCW provieds I will be able to sustain my new life style with my new weight!!!
