    2. Counting calories and understanding my body's nutritional needs.
    3. Workout DVDs available on Netflix Watch Now, and then Jillian Michael's DVDs when those became too easy.
    4. No longer going out to eat (except on special occasions).
    5. Taking the time to pack my meals and snacks the night before and being sure to eat something small every 2-3 hours.

    1. Realizing it is a lifestyle and not a diet.
    2. Starting to exercise.
    3. Learning that Rome wasn't built in a day... what took me 20 years to build wasn't going to magically disappear while I slept.
    4. Setting a time limited Goal... in my case, I committed to run a marathon 12 months after I started.
    5. Support system.

    6. Bought a treadmill and placed it somewhere I couldn't ignore it.
    7. Felt like I had a heart attack and knew I needed change or I would die.
    8. Being called Fat by my own children and being told they were embarrassed by me.
    9. Public Humiliation at Disney World in being recognized for my "Wisdom" on stage.
    10. Wanting to see my children grow up.
