just wondering if anyone can help me out;
I'm an 18 year old girl and I have really muscly legs which makes them look big. Is there a way of losing this muscle/ exercising without gaining any more muscle?
Thanks!!

You want to lose muscle? um...do you have a picture of these legs?0
-
Yes. Picture would help.0

Enjoy them (feel free to see the pics of my lovely muscular thighs) - they help you be powerful and strong. And my guess is that they don't look anywhere near as big as you think.0
-
not sure that you would want to lose any muscle but there are various forms of exercise that change the look but this is long term and not a quick fix. Ballet, pilates and yoga known for a lean but strong look.0

Odd selection of photos but this is all I had on my phone! Thanks for your help

Ummmm why in the world would you want to get rid of those? I'm not sure which are yours in the bottom right pic but the top two! Very nice.0

beautiful legs. It's very "in" now for women to have muscles!0

Some people (me) are working their butts off to get legs like yours. What is your concern? I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but they're not really muscly, just nice.0
-
Ok your legs look like my legs, and they are my favourite body part! Seriously they are lovely, people compliment me on mine all the time0
-
you said in your initial post that they are muscley which makes them look big. I disagree. They look fairly petite, yet in great shape. I would leave them just the way they are.0
-
They're perfect. They're just not anorexicly skinny looking, which is what you're looking for?
Lots of people are WANTING what you have, embrace it0 -
Your quads aren't big at all and your calves are likely more genetic than anything else. IF you want to lose muscle though, the best way to do it is to NOT use your legs at all for at least a few months. That will cause atrophy. So if you're up for a wheel chair, then you may have a shot.
Thing is that what you're viewing as muscly, is just good proportions in your lower body. Not sure why you want to get rid of them.

There's very little muscle in your legs. It's just well defined in your calves (and I don't really see any in your thighs) due to lower body fat in the area and possibly genetics.
So.... yeah. No advice really.0
