Hi I am looking for some guidance on what weight of kettlebell to buy.

I want to add more strength training. I want to buy a kettlebell and use Jillian Michael’s “Shred it with Weights” along with routines on fitnessblender. I really want an adjustable kettlebell but they all seem to cost a fortune.

While I am a little out of shape I am pretty strong and tend to gain strength and put on muscle easily if I exercise (sadly I also put on fat fairly easily if I don’t exercise). I don’t want to get one that’s too light that ends up useless in two weeks but at the same time I don’t want to injure myself.

Does anyone have any advice as to what a good starting point might be? Should I buy two, 2kgs different in weight and see how I go?
