i am interested in losing fat% and gaining muscle mass...if anyone is in the same boat let me know

    I'm in a similar boat.
    I'm looking to gain muscle mass and stay at about the same bodyfat percentage.


    Any questions feel free to shoot em at me, I'll try to help the best I can.
    I've cut from 165ish down to 148 while gaining a bit of muscle. (i was new to lifting)

    I'd like information on this, too! I still need to lose a bit of weight, but soon i want to focus on losing fat and gaining muscle, mostly my abs and upper body, since my lower body is already fine.. but i have no clue where to start or what to do..

    If someone does, please send me a message with some direct advice...

    I would also recommend trying bodybuilding.com it focuses more on building muscle while using this site as an excellent resource for tacking foods and calories. That's what I have been doing.

    Talysshade - Are you incorprating strength training into your workout schedule 3 times per week? Do you have a plan of action. More muscle helps you burn more fat. A proven fact.

    Mattshoe55 - not sure what you have been doing for a workout.

    For everyone, how's your nutriton? The phrase abs are made in the kitchen is so true. You can never workout poor nutriton.

    I am here to help if I can. BTW, I too am on a journey to reduce by bodyfat %. I am steadily losing it with my good nutriton and workouts that challenge me. Switching it up every 3-4 weeks to keep my body guessing. Nothing earth shattering, but just enough for my body to keep changing and losing that excess fat especially below the belly button, the pooch as so many women refer to.
