My MFP journey so far is going great. I'm going to this place to dinner tonight and I don't want a total night off. I have around 800 calories for the rest of today left and I would really appreciate pointing in the right direction as to making some choices that aren't too bad. I'm really bad at understanding what is calorific and not and just generally a bit clueless. I don't want a total night off but I want to make the right decisions when eating out.

Any feedback would be HUGELY appreciated. Plus I'm rubbish at picking in restaurants anyways.

It all sounds terrific. Pick something, eat until you feel satisfied, not until stuffed. Hard to say about calories. Log with your best guess and then for get about it. Start again tomorrow. Most of all enjoy your evening out :)

Thanks, I know I'm being a bit over the top. I've basically never had such a good run of eating healthily in my life and I'm constantly scared of 'falling off the wagon'. Guess I need to relax a bit really. Cheers :)

I really don't think anything on that menu would take you over 800 calories.

Dude, if you're going to spend so much money on a meal... Eat what you want. Seriously. ENJOY IT. And don't forget to get dessert.

I have no clue how many calories would be in each dish frankly. Also keep in mind that those restaurants typically have reasonable portions, so I don't think it will be THAT bad anyway.
