I think we have about the same body type and used to weigh the same. It's sad girl I know how you feel. Sometimes it seems like you can never get that body back but the success pictures here say otherwise!!0

She actually was showing where she used to be, and where she is now is in the top 3 pics.
Anyway, good luck, lots of good people here will help you get back to where you want to be!0 -
OK so now you have a starting point, only you can decide your "ending" point...You can totally do this, it is obvious from the success stories, that it is NEVER too late...come on, we're here for you.0

You'll get back there. Use this as motivation!! Look at it daily and remind yourself why you're wanting keep on track.
I'm not brave enough to take undies pics. Wish I would...Although I will admit that I would cry as well.0 -
We all have a starting point. I know that you think you look bad, but you really don't. Are you curvier? Yes, but you still have a very nice shape.
Don't let t his discourage you, let it be your jumping off point. You can do this and we are all here on the same journey.0 -
Keep that last picture and look at it every day. Picture in your mind, you looking like that again. This is what i've done with an old photo of me because it's keeping me focused and it's made me realise that I DO have the body I want underneath all this 'insulation'.
It's hurtful and a real eye opener when you first start this journey to see what you do / did look like at one point. I'm so embarrassed by pictures of me from July last year and I can't believe that's what other people have been seeing all along.
So embrace these photos, use them as a tool to push you back to where you want and deserve to be!0 -
It's great that you've taken these now while you can still vey much get back to what you were. You have no bits yet that can't be slimmed right back down. Wish I'd done this years ago because I now have no chance of getting my skin totally back to what it could've been. Brave girl for posting these pics and confronting it head on and you don't look that bad at all. I wish you luck0

Just use that desire to cry to fuel the motivational fires!
Here in a few months you'll be glad you have these pictures to see how far you've come!0 -
Thanks all, I really feel motivated to get back to what I was or better. I hate being like this, I hate the pain it causes my knees, the difficulty to get clothes that fit, and the nasty comments.
I'll be slim and fit if it's the last thing I do!0 -
Welcome to MFP--we are all here with you on the journey..0

You have a strength and determination that I can only hope to achieve! I debated for a week whether or not to post a pic of me IN CLOTHES because I am so embarrassed about the way I look now. It took god only knows how long before I actually let hubby take a picture of me.
I admire you so much for showing YOU to the world, for facing your challenge and deciding that you are going to win. You have motivated me, given me courage and hope. When I grow up, I want to be just like you!

Hubby took the same type of pics of me & believe me, you have nothing to want to cry about. But i understand why you wanted too. When we are faced with those pics, they look a whole lot different than what we thought we looked like in the mirror. You'll get to where you want to be & i will too. Best wishes!0
