Is there a way to share entered recipes with another MFP user so they don't have to re-enter?

This would save my girlfriend and I a ton of time seeing as how we eat the same thing for dinner.

We tried sharing the diaries with each other and that didn't work.

Suggestions?

Did you ever get an answer to this? I want to get my boyfriend engaged and this is the selling point.

I'm hoping to get the same question answered. I thought there used to be a way to make them public, but I can't find it anymore. Please respond if you know how to share recipes with friends.

My husband and I run into this issue a lot. It's so frustrating! I'll be interested to know if there is a way to share.

You can not share recipes directly with another user.

There is a work around.
User1 creates a Recipe and logs it to a Meal.
User2 opens User1's Diary (shared with public, friends only, or locked with a key)
User2 clicks Quick Tools and copies User1's Meal to his/her Diary.
