I started at 145lbs and back in September I got down to 109lbs with only 4lbs to get to my goal. But around the time I got down to this weight my boyfriend had gone to Atlanta for 6 weeks for job training and I didn't really work out as much, as I was by myself with 2 kids for 6 weeks and then with the holidays. I gained 6lbs back because of all this but I've picked back up with my exercise and eating, I've managed to lose 2 of the 6 lbs I gained but I can't seem to shake the last 4 plus 4 more to get to my goal. I exercise 4-6 days a week depending on what goes on during the weeks, I eat good most of the time but I won't lie I do have sweets here and there. Any help with how I can lose these last 8 lbs?

Do you use a food scale?0

No I don't but I haven't used one in the 2 years I've been losing weight.0

Doesn't look like you have a lot to loose and the last part is always the hardest. Time to refocus and be patient. Sorry, no miracle here. Make absolutely certain you are not kidding yourself with your calories in or calories out. If you've been at it a while and then you fall back, sometimes your brain doesn't adjust and you "Think" you can estimate. Start from the beginning, what did you do to get to where you are? Are you compensating and settling because you only have a small amount to go?
I'm no expert, just asking questions I've had to ask myself. With success, sometimes comes complacency? If you didn't use a food scale before, maybe that is the magic you need. Don't say you didn't need one before, rather, embrace that as an idea that might get you to the next level. Your close! Time to up your game if you really want it bad enough.
I don't think anyone can give you the answer you need, but maybe we can ask you the questions you need to ask yourself. Good Luck.0 -
Probably time to worry less about the scale and more about measurements. Are you doing cardio? Weight? or a combination of the two?0

That's what I was thinking. Possibly reduce your portion sizes a tiny bit and/or increase weight training. Focus on fitness-related gains now and your body will then follow suit.0 -
