I am wanting to buy a heart rate monitor to use when working out, this is what i'm looking for:

-No chest strap- just a watch.
-Accurate reading
-Easy to use
-Calorie counting function
- CHEAP! £50 max really- but as cheap as possible!

Do some have a memory of your entire calories burnt for that workout- that you can record in this site later? because that would be useful..

I'd appreciate any helpful responses  Thank youuu!!

I have a cheap one with a strap. It was £14.99 from lidl. It seems ok, took my details when I set it up etc. Not sure it stores memory, but works as a pedo n timer etc as well. The calorie burn seems ok I think.

Mine has a chest strap which makes it more accurate. It was £25 from eBay. RSP Pro 28 Function Heart Rate Monitor With Chest Belt. It has been excellent and has loads of functions.

It wont be accurate without a chest strap as the watch only ones you just touch to check your heart rate, not constantly monitor it.

Ive got a polar FT7 and its great! I also wear it as a normal watch as it's quite snazzy with its black body and red stripe :-) it was about £80 so a bit over your budget, but you can get some good ones for your budget. I would suggest you get one with a chest strap though.
