Cheat meals....what gives!

Soooo I have been doing great with eating right everyday and and also working out everyday since the end of last month...I ended up going out to this sweet mexican restaurant the other night and was like oook I guess this is the dreaded cheat meal....and MAN...I weighed myself the next morning and gained 5lbs??? NEVER AGAIN cheat meal...you won the battle but I will win the war!!! From now on my cheat meal will be kale chips...with a sprinkling of crushed kale chips and dipped into liquefied kale chips....

    To have actually gained five lbs you have had to eat 17,500 calories over your calorie maintenance level. One lb is 3500 calories times five. You probably have not excreted the meal and might have some extra water. Don't sweat it. Weigh yourself again when things have passed.

    Restaurant food is loaded with sodium, which causes water retention. It'll come off within a couple days.
