How to keep online videos from sticking? Please help!

Lately for some reason, anytime I try to watch something on hulu.com, youtube.com or any online video type site, the videos "stick" every few seconds or so instead of there being a nice, steady continous flow from start to finish with no interruptions (other than commercials on hulu.com). Could someone PLEASE tell me how to fix this?? I used to be able to watch videos online just fine so I have no idea why it's not working for me now.

    You probably have a program running in the background. Make sure you close any other programs other than your browser. It may also help to clear your browser's file cache and delete the cookies.

    Run a system defrag and a disk cleanup.

    also double check how fast your net connection is running, there may be a problem with it.
