Reduce My Weight to be Healthier

Hi, I've joined "myfitnesspal" to learn how to track my meals--calorie intake, sodium, etc. I was blessed to become a year older and I want to be healthy inside out. I don't look my weight but I do feel overweight based on kneeling, backpain and hip pain. My goal is to lose 50 lbs within 4 months. I would like to meet some others who would like to join in and inspire and encourage one another. We have only one life, we go to work everyday and perform our duties, right? So let's put ourselves first and be loyal to our own bodies. Good luck to you all.

50 lbs in four months is rather aggressive. Slow but steady progress works in the long run. One pound a week is relatively easy to do. I recommend starting with a pound per week and modifying it to a more aggressive approach. I'm down 50 lbs and I've been on MFP for 54 weeks. I've got another 25 to go. Slow and steady!0
