When I was 14, I was diagnosed with PCOS, after hemmroging through the night. After, being a guinea pig for new medications, and none of them working, we found out that some of my cycts were malignant. I fought, and fought. I lost most of my hair, had to leave the 9th grade, was toted from hospital to hospital, doctor to doctor. Finaly, after getting the malignant cycts taken care of I began a normal diet, accompanied by Metformin, Lamictal, Birth Control, and many, many others. I vomited every morning, was told I couldn't have children, had patches of hair missing...I was miserable. So, I quit. I didn't go back, and I suffered through the pain in silence. And now, some 8 years later, my significant other finally convinced me to go to a specialist. My PCOS is worse than its ever been. It's possible I have a pituitary tumor, and possibly Cushings disease (I find out Friday)
I'm back on medication, back to throwing up every morning, dizzy spells in the middle of the day, and more hope than I know what to do with. The doctor told me I need to lose close to 152lbs, before having kids. YES! I am able to have babies! I'm on my journey, to a happier, healthier, more beautiful me. I know I can do it, even if that means ugly crying every night, and vomiting every morning.

It's great to hear a story like this. I found out I have PCOS in early December - my main goal is to get healthy enough to have babies with the love of my life after we get married. Good luck with everything!
