Looking for Friends who are taking warfarin/coumadin

Hi...I'm looking for a few pals to compare notes with who are taking warfarin( UK) or Coumadin(US) long or short term. I am especially interested in how you exercise and if you have any side effects when exercising. And of course would be happy to support you in your weight loss goals too :)

    I'm in, if I'm not too late! Just had a PE in Feb. and am on Warfarin until mid-August. Exercise limited to walking at the moment but hope to get back to Jillian Michaels DVDs in the summer.
    Have you been able to exercise as you'd like on Warfarin? Does it seem to have any effects on INR?

    am also a new-to-warfarin patient (also a PE).

    another two weeks before I 'm allowed to resume exercise, but they said that there should be no restrictions (which means a return to burpees, yay!)

    anyhow, fill find out more at the Coumadin clinic...cheers

    only exercise restrictions are "as tolerated".

    The coumadin clinic folks are really patronizing and make you root for antidote for the NOACs...
