Can anyone tell me how to add calories burnt to the diary?

I wouldn't. Keep it simple, set a goal calorie for the day and stick with it. It makes it a lot easier to measure progress and allows you to adjust your calories accordingly. Measuring calories burnt is basically a large estimation and can slow your progress.0
