Good morning! I am getting married in November and have started exercising daily. I want to structure my workouts now. I have Leslie Sansone (sp?) DVDs for walking but want to supplement with Jillian Michaels. I have Ripped in 30, 30 DS and her new 7 Day shred. I am 180lbs hoping to get at least to the 150s but mostly look fit and healthy in November. Which DVD do you suggest I try?

Find one that you like to do and will do. DVDs got boring real quick for me, I did like using some on Fitnessblender, but find an activity you like and will stick with.

I love Jillian Michaels and her 30DS is great. I have however started 1st Jan a program called XTFMAX90 by Stephanie Oram which is great. 90 days, alternating cardio, strength and toning DVD's. You have the time and for under £20 I think it is the bargain of the century compared to Insanity etc. there are multiple level options as with JM so even a beginner can do.0

you'll probably get a lot of this, but strength training is going to be your friend. Since women generally lack the testosterone levels to bulk up like men do, our end result from lifting is usually a more "toned" physique. Besides, if you're eating a calorie deficit lifting is supposed to help avoid losing any lean body mass along with that fat you want to get rid of.0

The best one will be the one you stick with. Everybody likes different things and just because one person likes 30 DS or P90X or Stronglifts doesn't mean you will. My best suggestion is to pick one and give it a good few weeks. If you hate it, switch. Congratulations!0

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! When I was getting "bride ready" I didn't use DVD's but I did join a Body Pump class at my gym and it kicked my butt into shape! free weights were also my best friend, as I wanted really toned arms and legs (my dress was tea length). Good luck of your journey!!0
