Lentil soup

This is my go to because it is super simple. Sometimes I'll add a little cumin for some spice. And it for sure needs salt. I usually don't bother with the blender step. If I'm feeling really motivated, I might stick the immersion blender right in the pot.

Lentil and bacon soup is really yummy. Fry an onion in fry light 1 cal spray and add 2 rashers of smoked bacon with all fat removed.THen add 2 carrots roughly chopped and add some orange lentils. then pop in 2 chicken stock cubes and lots of boiling water and cook for 45 mins then blend to fine smooth soup. Yummy!! It's so filling and tasty hope this helps0

try a few tablespoons of red lentils, chopped carrots, some leek, and add one vegetable stock and then add water,
I also add two uncooked chicken breasts which boil in the soup for a few hours and then they become tender and shredded! tastes so yummy, I also add broccoli but some people prefer not to!
making a pot tomorrow mmm haha!0
