Photo Thread - Show Where You Walk, Hike, Run, Or Bike

Since many of us probably take our MyFitnessPal app enabled phones with us when we go for a walk, or other method of exercise, I thought a thread where people could post photos of wherever they went would be fun. Maybe even something you saw along the way. Don't slow down to take a pic though... I don't want to be responsible for you not burning your maximum calories.
We have an irrigation canal near our house and the canal road doubles as a great pathway for walking

I love this thread idea! Can't wait to see more pictures.
This is a park owned by the local college (EAC - Arizona) its really pretty. Its actually set up to show different ecosystems, I like walking through it (except for by the swamp....which tends to get misquotes!)0 -
I'm very thankful to live in the Monterey Bay Area, California. AMAZING hiking here.

Great pictures everyone!
Today I mixed it up a bit and part of the walk ran right past an orchard... by the end of summer, maybe I'll post pics of some apples hanging from these trees.0 -

This is where I imagine I am, since I'm in my basement on the treadmill, or just on my road... it's a place in Maine. The mountain is Mt. Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. I've been up the mountain (5,000 feet) and several of the surrounding peaks at a much younger age and hope to get up there again. BTW, this pond is an amazing place to spend some quality quiet time if you can handle roughing it in a backwoods cabin for a few nights...
I can't post a pic but if you google Daicey Pond images, you'll see it....0 -
Still got snow in the surrounding mountains. When the wind whips up it can make for a chilly walk.0

Pics I took during my hike today0

Okay... I was walking along, minding my own business and came across one of the weirdest retaining walls I've ever seen. Though only slightly more weird than people probably thought I was for stopping and taking a picture of it.0

Reminded me of that classic Simon and Garfunkel song: Like a Bridge Over Irrigation Water0
