Hi,

I've been having a problem this week with headaches.

Last week I was on holiday and wasn't eating very well at all. Since Tueday I have been eating properly again and staying within my 1200 cal a day allowance.

I've been exercising more than usual and eating back my exercise calories, getting more sleep than usual but am still getting pretty bad headaches most days.

Do you think it could be my body getting used to eating different foods or just shock to eating a lot less than last week?

BTW my caffine intake hasn't really changed.

If anyone can offer any suggestions I'd be greatful, I don't like keep taking pain killers with no understanding of why I'm gettting the pain!

    Hows your water intake?

Most likely if your drinking enough water, then its the changes and as your body gets rid of its toxins it can cause headaches. when I did a detox I got some pretty decent headaches and that was from my body readjusting to not having all the toxins from meat and other junk

I'm drinking a fair amount of water, maybe not quite my full amount but on a par with what I was drinking prior to my holiday.

Do you know roughly how long they last for?
  • I think you can use this if you dont suffer from chronic Migraines:
You have to drings very much, but I don't think you can get a fast weightloss, without having headache. So take some of the most simple headache pills during the period. 2- 3 pills a day. But don't get yourself a bad habit afterwards.
Taking a fast weightloss, is a form of torture. Make it a little bit more painless!
To much caffine a day can give you headache. I drink max. 4 cups of ordinary coffee.

Headaches can be caused by many different things !! I suffer from chronic Migraines caused by the Barometric Pressure . Check the weather, I cannot advise a solution, but it does make you aware , and give you a reason why you are getting them !!:glasses:

2-3 days with the detox i did.....I suppose its a process of elimination.

Because you are exercising more, you will be losing fluid too so be a bit more concious of yyour water intake. I am shocking with mine, and I know I when I get a head ache its cos of lack of water

Ive been getting a few more headaches of late.......not sure why either as it started before i started back on exercising and calorie checking

    Lots of reasons for headaches:

Dehydration and detoxing are big ones but sometimes a mineral deficiency will set off a headache.

I have found this especially common if you get headaches with your "cycle". Are you getting plenty of fruit and veggies? If not you may want to boost things with a good multivitamin/multimineral supplement.

I started getting headaches too. I began taking a 100% RDA multi vitamin and mineral supplement and I have not had any issues since.
