Having surgery

I'm only 8 pounds from my goal and now have to have surgery on my foot. I normally walk 6-8 miles a day. Does anyone have ideas on what exercises I can do after surgery? I will be off my foot for 8 weeks

Ask your doctor before the surgery and double-check with your discharge notes.
Maybe lifting with arms only? Possibly swimming with your arms, depending on how you are bandaged post surgery.
Good luck...I have a really hard time sitting still for weeks at a time after surgery. On the plus side, I've managed to get through several recoveries without gaining more than a pound or two. I focus on getting enough fluid and protein--so lot of things like homemade chicken soup and yogurt.0 -
