What is your calorie limit? Will these ideas work?

I get bored with salads pretty quick. How about a "Salad Wrap" instead. Put all your salad fixings in lettuce or spinach leaves or even a low carb tortilla. I use a whole grain tortilla that is only 81 calories.

    Other Ideas:

    Stuffed Peppers
    Stuffed Mushrooms
Veggies & Brown Rice or Quinoa

I use pintrest and allrecipes.com for recipe ideas. All recipe has a healthy section and I recently grabbed a few and as soon as I make them I will be glad to provide feedback. I love to make chicken fajitas and just have the peppers, onions and chicken w/o the shell. I do the same with tacos, use romaine leaves instead of the shell.

A chili recipe that I enjoy:

    1 lb lean ground beef/turkey
    1 chopped onion
    1 clove minced garlic
    1 seeded, chopped green pepper
14 oz no salt pinto beans
28 oz no salt diced tomato
    1 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

brown meat with onion, garlic and green pepper, once cooked drain off any excess oil. add spices and beans, stir for about a minute. add tomatos and bring to a boil, lower and simmer for 15 minutes. You can warm it up with extra cyenne pepper or add jalapeno peppers if you like. The recipe indicates 2 cup serving for a guy and 1 cup for a girl.

Meatloaf (serving size is 2 slices for a guy and 1 for a girl)
16 oz turkey or lean ground beef
    1 small chopped onion
    1/2 c uncooked oats
    3/4 c ketchup
    2 egg whites
    2 T oregano
    2 T basil
    2 T garlic powder
    1 T black pepper
Preheat oven to 400, bake 1 hour, use a non-stick loaf pan

mix all items together and place in pan

Roasted Green Beans (men 1.25 cups, women 1 cup serving size)

1 lb green beans, ends snapped off
1 red bell pepper cored and sliced into strips
    1 1/2 T extra virgin olive oil

    1T fresh lemon juice
1 t extra virgin olive oil
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper to taste

    preheat over to 450

    1. toss beans and peppers in a bowl w the olive oil to coat.
    2. line a baking sheet w foil, spread veggies on the baking sheet
    3. roast 10 min
    4. while roasting mix remaining ingredients in a bowl
    5. remove veggies from oven w tongs, coat with mixture and put back onto the baking sheet.
    6. roast an additional 10 min or until dark golden in spots.

Hope these give you a few alternatives.

Low for a dude! Is that for 2 pounds a week? Have you calculated your TDEE? Not trying to be like your mom or anything, just like to see that people can eat as much as they can to lose weight.
