Having trouble getting number of servings to take

Entered an entire recipe under the old version for entering, but the only thing I can get to go into the serving box is a "." (period). It would not let me enter anything else. It would not let me save the recipe, it kept asking for me to enter the number of servings. Please help.

    Weird problem. The old recipe maker is much more stable for me; I use it exclusively.

    -Try opening the recipe creator in a new tab, and see if it lets you enter servings. If yes, then the page glitched at some point, and you'll have to refresh & start again.

    -If no--are you using noscript, or a similar script-blocking program? try temporarily disabling it. This will usually cause the page to refresh, so you might lose your progress.

    Other than that, no ideas.
