We are due to get a snow storm/blizzard for the next 3 days.....I foresee snacking (my downfall) while I am stuck at home.....I will have to try to resist but, 'resistance is futile' :)

Great opportunity for a cardio workout of shoveling snow.

Get some snacks in that are healthy, but don't feel like you're being punished (sod off carrot sticks). And get out and play in the snow! It'll probably burn up a load of calories. No one's ever too old for building snowmen.

I'll be shoveling and snow blowing. That should give me enough calories for a hot cocoa when I come back in. I also need to make sure the dog has a place to do his business without losing him in the drifts.

I'm also crocheting a blanket with scraps of left over yarn. It keeps my hands busy and away from grabbing snacks.

What I was going to say.

Good luck with all the snow.

crocheting sounds doable.....have an injured leg and am on a cane so no play or shoveling for me this time!
