    Set small goals along the way. By reaching these smaller goals, it motivates you for the next one. I reward myself in 5 lb intervals. I still need to lose 40 lbs and that sounds like a lot of work, but I set my smaller goals and each one reached makes me look forward to the next one. Best wishes on this journey!

    I agree with beanrider, start with small changes and goals. Drink more water (aim for 8-10 cups/day), reduce eating processed foods, eat 2 servings of fruit and 2 servings of vegetables per day. Weigh in 1x week and always input any weight changes into MFP (that way you see the gains and losses in your weight loss journey, weight loss isn't linear even if you're following a similar routine).
