It's been a month I am using fitness pal. I was to loose 1kg per week. However I lost only 2.5 kgs instead of 4 kgs despite of consuming less than 1200 calorie / day. Pls suggest how can I be consistent in losing 4 kgs/ month.

    To lose 1 kg a week, you need to eat 7700 calories fewer a week than you are currently eating.

    That's 1100 fewer calories a day.

    Then you need to let your body do what it wants to do, and keep persevering.

    You are likely eating more than you realize. Log accurately, daily, weigh food (or at least measure everything), double check entries, eat to your goal daily. Unless you are obese a 2lb/week goal is not necessary and is overkill.

    According to your profile you want to lose 10kg. If that is the case trying to lose 1 kg per week is too high. You are undereating. Set your goal to 0.5 kg per week at the most. Eat all your calories and exercise calories.
