When cooking healthy are you supposed to use no salt at all or is a pinch when cooking okay? Or what ate healthy ways to add flavor?

Sure, why wouldn't it be?

Unless you have medical problems that are exacerbated by salt, I wouldn't worry about it. Especially if you're active and exercise, you need it.0

Unless you have blood pressure issues, there's no need to limit use of salt. "Healthy" cooking doesn't mean tasteless! If I had to eat my meals with no salt, I'd be a very sad puppy0

Unless you have a health issue that requires cutting salt, a reasonable amount of salt is fine. I find that I am using more herbs and spices these days than salt because they give me more flavor.0

drink a gallon of water a day, and it will flush out any excess salt0

Also, if you don't eat lots of processed foods or fast food, you'll be avoiding some of the common sources of high sodium anyway. Since I eat mostly home cooked stuff and know I get plenty of potassium and since I work out, I see zero reason to worry about sodium, especially that from a bit of salt (or even a bit more salt) used in cooking.
I just use plain old kosher salt.
Other good ways to season food include pepper and other spices and herbs.0 -

I cook with a butt ton of salt. Because less oil and butter. And I love salt.0
