Right amount of calories???

I don't know if all this info is needed or not for an online assessment but here goes. I'm female, 5'7 and currently 274 and looking to get down to what would be a healthy weight for myself. Around 169-180. I've lost 10 pounds in a week but I know that's probably my body getting adjusted to my healthier lifestyle and it's mainly water weight. My daily calorie intake is set at 1640 on MFP. I'm still trying to incorporate excerise into my new lifestyle and haven't been able to get into a scheduled routine. Although, my part time job working in a nursing facility 3 to 4 days a week keeps me moving and in my feet. I don't feel deprived on my current calorie guideline. Just wondering what others that may be similar in statistics. Thanks:)

Stick with what MFP gave you until it stops working. I would only eat back a portion of the exercise calories as well.. in some cases they can over estimate. And if you don't have one, pick up a food scale to increase accuracy. Outside of that, think of protein and fats at the minimums and try not to keep things simple.0
