Not a diet, a lifestyle

Ryann's my name and life is the game. Sure I'd like to loose an inch or two or a few pounds (because that's what the media says is perfection, right?) but I'm happy with myself and living healthy. I excersise daily and love vegtables. Like, LOVE them. People have called me a rabbit since age 3. I'm pretty muscular and it shows in my thighs...which are bigger than ideal, but I'm grateful for them because I can run, jump and dance. I was tired of always comparing myself to others. I was taking my blessings for granted. What was I complaining about? I've been given a body that works. I can do almost anything I put my mind to. That's pretty incredible.
On that note, I'd just like to join a community for tips, support, and inspiration to keep me going when cheesecake and sleeping in are temptations.
Which is always.
Thanks for reading!

You're absolutely right! Deciding to get into shape shouldn't be about being skinny, it should be about having a healthier lifestyle and having a more functional body. Having a nice looking beach body is just an added perk!

Best wishes on your fitness journey!

Welcome to MFP. I wish more young people would focus on health at your age and I know there are more that do than 40 years ago.

Welcome, Ryann. What are your favourite types of exercise? I love running and yoga, but I will pretty much try anything. I love vegetables, too! It's a pretty convenient thing to be addicted to. Add me as a pal, if you like!
