Hey there my name is John Duthie and I am looking for someone to help me out with some sort of a diet plan. I am currently sitting at 13st? And I lack in confidence with self appearance, which is funny because I am a singer so I have to perform infront of quite a lot of people but I never feel confident on stage. Can anyone help?

  • I can't give you professional advice on anything, but maybe just share a little of what I've learn.
-If you eat big portions try slowly serving a little less for yourself each meal, so your not experiencing extreme hunger from cutting portion down to quick. Have a glass of water with your meals to help you fill up more.
-Switch from any soda's and store brought juices to water and add a smoothy each day for a treat drink. Cut down on alcohol as well as it's loaded with 'empty' calories.
-Invest in a non-stick fry pan, so you can use less oil or no oil if you want.
-Eat more lean meats and less greasy food, and replace the saturated fat in your diet with the healthier fats found in fish, beans, nuts and avocado. (You should have at least 2 serves of fish per wk to get your omega 3)
-Carbohydrates are sugars and starches. They are found in fruit and some vegetables, dairy foods and grain-based foods like bread, breakfast cereals, rice and pasta. Got this one from: http://www.mydailyintake.net/nutrients/#sthash.nyd4Yw45.dpuf
-Here you can find some guides on basic daily intake for different food groups.
